Darkness Devour

(spirits fly all around the princess) "...Do you accept the darkness as part of you? Will you serve my purpose?" ...Yes, my princess. I shall grasp the darkness and let it become a part of me. "Once you accept the darkness, you can never go back. Do you wish to continue knowing that?" ...I will. Then take this orb and allow the darkness to devour your soul." (he takes the orb) I shall always be loyal to you no matter where I am or what I become. "I too shall remember that." (orb releases a powerful aura angulfing the man)

...Ugh. Where am I? (looks around) Huh? "You're in the surface world." Wha-what? Who are you?! "?" What is this place? "Heehee!~ Like I said, you're on the surface world, silly." How is that possible...? "Well... you came through the vortex of darkness just (points) o-ver there." (looks towards the vortex) The what? (sigh) "This is going to be a lo-ng journey. Huh?! Wha-wha-what journey?! And you still haven't told me who you are! "Time can only tell on what this journey is about and where it's going to take us. Oh, and I'm your guardian on this journey! Isn't that awesome!~" My... guardian? "Why yes of course! You only just got your powers of darkness. My name is Eclipse!~ What's yours?~" Uh... it's... uh... Fang. "Fang huh? You sound more like a dog than a human... oh, yeah... you're not a human anymore!~" What?! What are you saying?! "Hmmmm... guess you don't know much. Well, might as well tell you!~ Since you accepted the orb My Lady Medea gave you, you have became immortal, but not the immortal kind of thing My Lady has though!~" Lady Madea? "Oh sorry. She has many names, she accquires them when she is out in the field doing top secret work. You might know her by a different name." Lady Madea... "Anyways, back to what I was saying. The immortal life you now have is resistant to aging and you will always stay young, but you can still be killed. While you get better ranks from My Lady, you get more resources and options." Huh? "It will take some time getting used to." This is still a bit confusing.
